FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1) Do I Have to Pay Sales Tax for Online Purchases?
A: No, unless you are a GA resident, or you live in a state that requires sales tax regardless. This includes CA, NY, and WA. Ask your local dealer for more help or call us if you aren't sure. Sales tax is collected at your dealer, not by us if you are having the gun shipped to a state other than GA. Even if you end up having to pay sales tax, which most customers won't, you may still find us to be cheaper than your local gun store.
2) How Much is Shipping?
A: Flat $10 per gun. If you are not a local pickup customer, we will be happy to ship any item you find here (to the 47 states). Shipping to AK, HI, and US Territories is $25.00 per gun. We currently ship all firearms and ammunition via FEDEX, fully insured, signature required. Bulk Ammo ships for flat $10 per item to the 47 states. If you need to rush your order, we will be happy to help you out. Call us for a custom quote. We are NOT responsible in any way for what happens to your items once they leave our store, although generally damage and losses are rare in occurrence. We will help you throughout the claims process should your package get damaged or lost.
3) How Long Will My Order Take to Process?
A: For most orders, we will need 1-2 business days to process, and actual shipping will take 2-5 business days. If you need to rush your order, we will be happy to help you out. Call us for a custom quote.
4) Can I Have my Firearms Shipped to My Home/Work/Office?
A: No! Federal Law requires us to send your firearms directly to your local gun dealer (FFL) of choice. They will perform a background check on you and transfer your gun there. Most gun stores handle internet transfers all the time, and will not be surprised when you ask them to be our "middle-man". Some states require an FFL to handle ammunition transfers as well, please call us if you aren't sure.
5) How Do I Find a Local FFL / Gun Dealer?
A: If you don't already have a store that you know and trust, you can go to the FFL Registry Website
to look one up. You can always call us if you need help!
6) Will My Local FFL /Gun Dealer Charge Me for Their Services?
A: Yes. All dealers charge a fee for handling the ATF paperwork and performing the background check. You may earn a discount if you have a valid carry permit. Usually the fee runs $15 to $35.
7) Can I Pay with Visa / Mastercard / Discover / AMEX / PayPal?
A: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover Cards. Debit or Credit is OK. No AMEX cards, due to their exorbitant processing fees. PayPal is not accepted because of their anti-gun policy
: See Section 2.i.
8) Do I Get Charged More for Credit/Debit than if I had paid cash?
A: No! Most gun stores will charge a "processing fee" or offer a gimmicky "cash discount". We don't, plain and simple.
9) How Else Can I Pay?
A: In addition to Credit/Debit Cards, we also accept the following: Personal Check, Business Check, Certified or Cashier's Checks, and Money Order. With the Exception of USPS Money Order, we hold any check for up to 5 business days. While we don't mind taking your check, we can't ship the order until it clears our bank. Certified funds are also held because they are widely copied and counter-feited. USPS money order is as good as cash.
10) Certain Items are Illegal Where I Live. Can You Ship Them to Me Anyways?
A: No. Please call us or check with your local dealer if you need help determining the legality of your items. While we may not always agree with the laws of your jurisdiction, we are bound to abide by them. No sales to California, period.
11) Why no sales to California?
It isn't because we don't want your business. The reason we don't sell to CA is threefold:
1) Because of the extra paperwork involved. It takes on average about 20 minutes extra and demands my direct involvement (rather than letting an employee ship the gun). It doesn't sound like much time, but we make only a small profit percentage on gun sales, so I don't have a lot of profit to throw around paying extra people extra money to ship items.
2) The way the state handles the transaction makes me feel like I'm gonna lose my FFL if I add more fluff to the package than was legally allowed. The few times I have shipped to CA have always left me with an uneasy feeling, even though everything was handled according to law.
3) Everytime a CA customer buys something, it ends up not being a legal item. Its easier to just say "No sales to CA" than to repeatedly cancel sales, issue refunds, request fee refunds and listing credits, etc.
Imagine being a candy salesman and a little kid wants to buy something from you. The parent , however, is adamant against it. You and the kid want to do business. You want the money. Your customer wants the candy. But it's just not that simple. I hope you understand our side a little better and thank you for your consideration.
12) What if my used gun is broken?
A: You get a complete refund within 10 days! Our no-lemon policy is outlined below.
13) How do I know the used gun I'm ordering isn't stolen?
A: All firearms are check with the national NCIC database by serial number. Your gun is guaranteed to be purchased legally.
